The Friend of Singa (FOS) award ceremony has concluded and this year’s FOS attracted the participation of schools across 3 categories, Primary, Secondary and Special Education schools.
For the first time, FOS also collaborated with NKF, where each participating school painted a canvas to contribute to a mural that would be distributed to the 25 dialysis centres. The canvas murals would definitely brighten up the patients’ day!
The theme for this year’s FOS project was “There’s Always Time to Make Someone’s Day.” It is believed that with our increasingly hectic lifestyles, finding time to make someone’s day may seem like an uphill task. However, most the entries received have proved that it is possible and relatively simple to make someone’s day as it doesn’t take much time to perform a simple kind act.
We would like to congratulate the winning schools and also thank all participating schools! We are sure that the campaigns each school conducted had lead to a school community filled with kindness and graciousness.
We would like to thank our venue, drinks and music sponsor, The Star Performing Arts Centre, Egg Story and Discovering our Talents for their generous contribution to the awards ceremony.
