Friend of Singa 2014 Awards Ceremony
On the 6, 9-13 February 2015, 1437 students and teachers from primary, secondary, international, and special schools gathered for a half-day workshop where they picked up important skills that would come in handy when they embark on their kindness projects in their respective schools on the theme, “A Nation of Kindness Starts with One!”
Through interactive games, story-telling, and brainstorming sessions, the students learnt project management skills, and design thinking through ideation and problem solving.
These students are now kindness ambassadors in their schools and will be planning and executing their kindness projects within their schools from April to August 2015.
Through the workshop, students learnt that kindness need not be a grand gesture, but from a simple kind act as kindness starts with one.
